Days 4 - 6

I've been crazy busy at work and home so I've been neglecting my poor blog. So I'm dumping the rest of the Berlin photos and moving on to more exciting ventures - like Mia & Layla. Mia, who spent the whole weekend arguing that she wasn't arguing. And Layla, who spent the whole weekend whining and beating up on Mia.
But to finish up my trip blogging, I have to say again how exhausting this vacation was. It literally took me an entire week to get caught up on sleep and energy! We saw so much, I just can't believe it. So in the last fews days, we saw the Pergamon Museum, The Reichstag Building and rode to the top of the dome (WAY better than the TV Tower and it was free!) We found a street market with jewelry made of coral and lava among other things. We finished the trip with a visit to Checkpoint Charlie, the crossing point between East & West Berlin. For 5 Euros, they stamp your passport in English, Russian, and German. It was pretty cool and kind of surreal. Especially since the Russian and American "soldiers" posing for photos were all German actors.
It was a wonderful trip and I highly recommend it if you have a love for history and architecture as it is rich in both. Here's all my photos from the whole week. I took over 500 in all!!
All stories need a good finish and we were given one in the form of a street performer. We were on our way to the Ka De We, a huge shopping center to finish up our gift buying and came across this guy and I can't think of a better way to end our vacation than with some awesome break dancing!
