Greetings from Berlin!

I am jet lagged but happy. First day in Berlin and it is a gorgeous, sunny day. We just had a 2 hour brunch. Not on purpose. Apparently Germans aren't quite as snappy servers as we are used to and since we left the list of phrases at the hotel, did not know how to say "Check please!" We ended up sitting for an hour after we had finished eating, just waiting for our waitress to remember we existed.
I'm taking tons of pictures that will be downloaded soon. I may or may not be blogging for the rest of the week but keep your eye on the Flickr widget on the left and I'll try to keep uploading the photos.
